The Digital Revolution
The Digital Revolution , in my opinion, is the single most important revolution in the history of mankind. It is also the revolution that is taken for granted the most. Everything, from our TV, to our furniture, down to our clothes, is made possible at their price, by the digital revolution. How many times a day do we go and push some sort of button, key, switch, or turn a knob? None, if we were before the 1950's, when the Digital revolution was just starting. Now? Only about 50 times a day... The Digital Revolution was, and still is, the start of the Information age ,AKA, right now, the present. However, many places haven't reached the digital revolution, such as parts of Africa, China, and others.
The Internet

The specific internet consisting of a global network of computers that communicate using Internet Protocol (IP) and that use Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to identify the best paths to route those communications.
The Internet is a main component of the Digital Revolution. It has allowed us to harness the full potential of this revolution. It has helped us to defend our country, trade easily with countries on the other side of the world, and even go into space!
